The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the financial operations of LICI including, financial planning, compliance, bank relationships and audit activities. In partnership with the Executive team, they will collaborate to make decisions regarding the LICI’s financial strategy and operations. Duties of the CFO:

  • Oversee the daily accounting and financial operations of LICI
  • Develop budgets for LICI in collaboration with the Executive Director, individual programs and new/proposed/expanded services, including the preparation of budget revisions as needed
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial reports for LICI, its programs, and activities
  • Report on financial results and issues to the Executive Director, Board of Directors and Membership
  • Oversee and review the preparation of all programs financial reporting required for funding sources
  • Manage the Billing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts payables functions and staff members, and the integration of billing information from the Electronic Health Record system into the accounting system
  • Manage the negotiation and execution of agency contracts with funding sources, vendors, and collaborative service providers
  • Manage accounting control systems and internal audits enduring the accurate and timely production of accounting information and financial reports
Required skills:
Any individual who serves as Chief Financial Officer shall be a certified public accountant; or have at least two years of accounting or finance work experience; or have obtained a degree or comparable certification in accounting, finance, business, or another closely related subject.
